Apr 01 2011 · My machine has all the flaws of a round column mill but it works and is quite strong for milling better than the Rockwell I have. The Rockwell is a Knee mill and superior in accurate moves but smaller table envelope. So I tend to use the Enco more even with its limits for general stuff. It is stiffer and offers a better platform to work from.

Feb 07 2014 · That is actually a TM-UM horizontal mill with a factory vertical head I believe. This is what a Hardinge TM-UM horizontal mill looks like in it s real normal life. I paid 700 for it a couple of years ago and felt it was a fair price. Check with the seller as to the whereabouts of the overarm arbor support and arbor.

McDonough LBL Brenta Cleereman etc etc. The smallest double siders I know of are the Select out of Canada and the Pilous exeurope somewhere I think they re Czechthey both do mills based on a 4"double sider but in both cases its the poor mans option to the 6"double sider.
